The Friends Book Tag

Heylo everybody! Today's post will be the Friends Book Tag! Because Friends is one of my favorite shows I thought it was pretty much essential that I do this tag. No one tagged me but I'm doing it anyway 'cause that's just how I roll 😎 lol. I scoured the Internet and looked just about everywhere but I sadly could not find the original creator(s) of this tag. If you know who created it, please let me know in the comments. But anyway, let's get on to the tag!

THE ONE WHERE EDDIE WON'T GO: a character you wish would go away

For this one I'm totally going to have to go with Julian, from Wonder. He is just such a f*cking douchebag to August in this book, and I hate him.

THE ONE WHERE ROSS AND RACHEL WERE ON A BREAK: the most painful breakup

I mean...do I really have to say anything. 😭

THE ONE WITH ALL THE KISSING: favorite kiss scene

I actually don't have an answer for this one. I mean I've read kiss scenes and all, but there isn't one that I like more than the other ones.

THE LAST ONE: favorite last book of a series

[goodreads]

MY GODS I JUST CAN'T GET OVER HOW EXTREMELY INCREDIBLE THIS BOOK IS I CAN'T EVEN HOLY CRAP.

THE ONE WITH THE BLACKOUT: a moment in a book I wish never happened

[goodreads]

Sorry, but this book and I are not on speaking terms. I'm still far too salty at it for what it did to me. *sobs*

THE ONE WHERE CHANDLER CAN'T CRY: a book that didn't affect me emotionally like it did other readers

[goodreads]

Once again a HP book (I can't help myself), but I'm guessing y'all know about the certain death in this. And every time I read this book and I get to the part, I don't cry. I'm only a tiny bit emotional. But a lot of people do cry, or at least are really sad, and I'm just not.

THE ONE WHERE JOEY DOESN'T SHARE FOOD (which is not a title but we'll go with it): a book I won't share

For this one, I'm going to have to go with ALL OF THEM. I hate having to lend about books, and thankfully I very rarely am asked to do so, but when I am I know I can't just be like "No, go to the library or something." I have to give them the book. And the entire time the person is reading it, I have even higher anxiety than usual.

THE ONE WITH THE THUMB: a book I'd give two thumbs up to

[goodreads]

I feel like I don't talk about this book on my blog nearly as much as I should, as it's one of my favorite books that I've ever read. And one of the saddest. But yes. This book is absolutely wonderful, and I would give more than two thumbs up to it if I could.

THE ONE WITH THE ICK FACTOR: a bookish pet peeve

This doesn't actually have to do with the book itself, i.e. the plot, the characters etc, but the physical book. I. Hate. Cover. Changes. SO. MUCH. Like I can't even explain how much I despise them. I know I'm seeming pretty over-dramatic, because I kinda am. BUT I JUST DO NOT LIKE THEM AT ALL WHATSOEVER AND WHAT THE HELL GOT INTO THE PUBLISHER'S MINDS TO THINK IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA.

THE ONE WITH THE LESBIAN WEDDING: favorite book with a queer couple

[goodreads]

Now yes, I know the actual real-life couple doesn't come in until the very end, but I AM STILL DOWNRIGHT OBSESSED WITH THIS BOOK. I love it so much. It's pretty incomprehensible how much I adore it in fact. In the rare case that you haven't picked up Simon, you NEED to. Right now.

And that's all for now! If you're reading this and you want to do this tag, then I TAG YOU! I really hope that you enjoyed this post, and if so make sure to hit that follow button! Bye!!
