The Ultimate Book Tag!

Hello everyone! I'm not sure who created this tag, but I'm super excited to do it! I hope you enjoy, and I tag all of you!

DO YOU GET SICK WHILE READING IN THE CAR?

This is a boring answer, but I don't read in the car. I just can't concentrate.

WHICH AUTHOR'S WRITING STYLE IS COMPLETELY UNIQUE TO YOU AND WHY?

I know everyone goes goes with this for a question like this, but Maggie Stiefvater. Her writing is just... *takes deep breath in* so ridiculously gorgeous. Like I can't even.

HARRY POTTER SERIES OR TWILIGHT SAGA?

Harry Potter, all the way. I know people talk about this all the time so I'd be kinda late but I could do an entire post on why.

DO YOU CARRY A BOOK BAG? IF SO, WHAT'S IN IT (BESIDES BOOKS)?

I don't carry a book bag, I usually either just carry my book in my hand or stuff it in my backpack.

DO YOU SMELL YOUR BOOKS?

This is practically considered a sin in the book community, but I don't find anything special about the smell of books. Old or new, they just smell like paper to me.

BOOKS WITH OR WITHOUT ILLUSTRATIONS?

I loooooove books with little illustrations throughout it! They're always just so pretty and add something extra to the book.

WHAT BOOK DID YOU LOVE WHILE READING BUT DISCOVERED LATER IT HAS BAD WRITING?

For me at least, writing is one of the most important things in a book, so I don't have an answer for this one. If the writing is bland or just nothing special I probably won't like the book too much.

DO YOU  HAVE ANY FUNNY STORIES INVOLVING BOOKS FROM YOUR CHILDHOOD?

Oh my god, I wish! I read a ton as a kid but I don't have any funny stories about it to share! Ugh.

WHAT IS THE TINIEST BOOK ON YOUR SHELF?

I'm not sure if I can actually call this a book, because it's technically a short story, but Kindred Spirits by Rainbow Rowell, at a whopping 62 pages.

WHAT IS THE THICKEST BOOK ON YOUR SHELF?

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by JK Rowling. I remember when I read it for the first time back in fourth grade, and it took almost 5 months to read.

DO YOU WRITE AS WELL AS YOU READ? DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN THE FUTURE AS AN AUTHOR?

The thing is, I really want to. I love story telling and writing and I definitely want to be an author someday, but first I need to think of the right idea. I've thought of a few in the past before but they just didn't end up working out after a few pages.

WHEN DID YOU GET INTO READING?

I know this is cliche, but in fourth grade, when I started the Harry Potter series.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CLASSIC BOOK?

I actually haven't read a classic book yet! I'm planning to eventually, though, and I'm pretty sure I have to read one for school sometime next year.

IN SCHOOL, WAS YOUR BEST SUBJECT LANGUAGE ARTS?

No, but it was my favorite.

IF YOU WERE GIVEN A BOOK AS A PRESENT, THAT YOU HAD READ BEFORE AND HATED, WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

A few days later, I would donate it to my local library or Half Price Books.

WHAT IS A LESSER KNOWN SERIES THAT YOU KNOW THAT IS SIMILAR TO HARRY POTTER OR THE HUNGER GAMES?

Sadly, I don't have an answer for this one. I really want to read more less-hyped books, but at the same time there are so many new releases coming out I have to focus on and older books I still haven't read and AHH. IF ONLY I HAD THE TIME TO READ ALL OF THESE BOOKS. (they're pretty much all hyped-up books too, soooo)

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WORD?

Bamboozled.

ARE YOU A NERD, DORK, OR DWEEB? OR ALL OF THE ABOVE?

Probably a nerd, but to be completely honest I don't know the difference between any of them. xD

VAMPIRES OR FAIRIES?

Fairies all the way! THEY CAN FLY. AND I LOVE GARLIC BREAD.

SHAPE-SHIFTERS OR ANGELS?

Shape-shifters! It'd be so cool to be able to just turn into anything you want, whenever you want to.

SPIRITS OR WEREWOLVES?

Spirits! I'm really not sure why, but I just like them a lot more.

ZOMBIES OR VAMPIRES?

NEITHER. I DESPISE BOTH.

LOVE TRIANGLE OR FORBIDDEN LOVE?

Forbidden love! For me, it's a lot more interesting to read about, and love triangles are one of my least favorite tropes anyways.

FINALLY: FULL-ON ROMANCE NOVELS OR ACTION-PACKED WITH A FEW LOVE SCENES MIXED IN?

Definitely action-packed with a few love scenes. I VERY VERY rarely read romance and when I do I'm bored to death (plus some descriptions can get weird okay). I love action-packed books and I also love my dear OTPs.

And that's it for now! Thanks for reading! Bye!
